Is digital film production different from broadcast film production? How?

Ah, the two millon dollar question. The truth is that the production processes can sometimes be very similar; there's no magical 'digital' production black magic that can turn an expensive television idea into an inexpensive viral. Trust us: if that black magic existed, we'd all be wearing sandals, pointy hats and robes. As it is, we just wear robes.

That said, there are certain projects that call for a - how shall we say - more guerilla approach, and that's something we're well versed in too. We're also attracted to directors who inherently understand the sensibilities of the web and know how to think in terms of different deliverables. For a live-action director, those deliverables might mean green screen footage for a webfilm, interstitial live content for a Flash game, a longform film, an interactive film - that sort of thing. For an animator, it could mean everything from knowing how to animate for multiple screens or mobile phone resolutions to delivering content packages that bundle original films with content for interactive banners.

We'd prefer not to show you what we look like in our robes.
