It's finally official. Our first American office is now open for business, and helmed by the esteemed Stefan Dufgran, formerly of Perfect Fools. We're currently hiring (CDs, ADs, PMs, TDs) and creating, so please direct any new biz or job enquiries for the American market to nyc@stinkdigital.tv.
Amazing! For the second year running, Stink is Boards Magazine's Production Company of the Year. Check out the full piece, which calls Stink Digital "easily the company's biggest success story of 2009". We're blushing! Linky linky.
Carousel took it's third Grand Prix of the season yesterday, nabbing the film accolade as well as a Gold in the Cyber category at Eurobest. This is in addition to a Silver in the Epicas earlier this week. As always, huge congrats go out to Adam Berg and our incredible interactive team for making it all happen.
Last night, the folks at BIMA held their annual award ceremony, and we were very proud to receive a whopping FOUR awards, including another Grand Prix for Carousel (which feels like a long time ago).
In future news, we're turning to pastures new this weekend. We'll be leaving our lovely little space in Shoreditch for a bigger office in Farringdon. See you on the other side...
We've just completed a live project with Hyper for the launch of Caramel Nibbles - see the #nibbles hashtag or the Bunny's fan page for some of the fun. Sorry if you missed it; watch this space (or follow us on twitter @stinkdigital ); we're launching more projects in the very near future...
First up: Congratulations to our dev team and to director Adam Berg for taking home a Silver Cyber Lion and a Film Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions. Secondly: if you missed the live stream from our last project for Nokia N97 and From The Basement, you can treat yourself to an archived stream of Jack White and the rest of Dead Weather's live show here.
The Interweb's response to Carousel continues to astound both us and Tribal DDB Amsterdam. The month's most leftfield linkage comes courtesy The Independent, Digg, Entertainment Weekly, Boing Boing, Kanye West and, uh, Ashton Kutcher. Crazy!
The eagle-eyed among you have probably noticed that we've added search functionality to the site. It's up there, in the top right hand corner. It works with directors, filters, agencies, blog posts -- anything, really. Have a play. And stay tuned for some exciting new interactive work, which we'll be unveiling in the coming weeks.
Because the Internet is obviously in desperate need of someone to document their thoughts re: it, we've launched - wait for it - a blog! Subscribe now for (hopefully) cogent ramblings on life, the universe and the internet from some of our producers, directors, developers and designers.
Up with the new! Now that we're fully ensconced in our new digs in East London, we thought we'd keep the momentum going with a swish new website. We're still arranging the furniture, but nonetheless, have a poke around and let us know what you think at hello@stinkdigital.tv.
... you need it, we make it. Stink Digital isn't just a film production company anymore; we've spent the last few months building a team of full-time developers and designers who, between them all, can make just about anything. Check out the FAQ for more.
Oh wow, this is kind of awesome: Boards Magazine has named Stink its production company of 2008, and it seems that Stink Digital was a key factor in that decision. Here's a PDF of their very flattering cover story, featuring words from some of our very own.
