As part of Sony’s new Made for Bond campaign, we created a mobile first Street View game. Users are invited to help Miss Moneypenny navigate the streets of London by locating her assailants.
Track down assailants pursuing Miss Moneypenny in an interactive chase. Users are put against the clock and must identify the location of each assailant using the spy tool and images sent from Miss Moneypenny’s Sony RV 100 IV camera.
Designed mobile first to pick up and play, the experience was built using HTML5 and React.js.
Leveraging the power of Google Maps and Street View, we stitched hundreds of 4000px images together to form panoramas that seamlessly fall into Google Street View. We captured villains fleeing the scene from 40 London locations using a GoPro Hero 360 Freedom Rig and retouched the panoramas. We even included a car shaped blur at the bottom of each to keep consistency to Google’s own images.
