Created for Hyper, London, www.the15reasons.com is aimed at the Nordic market and promotes the PS3's appeal to a wider audience than just gamers, following on from the global campaign promoting the newly redesigned PS3 console. The microsite acts as an interface with Camilla, the more-than-human embodiment of the PS3, who tells the user all they might want to know about the console in a series of bite-sized segments that include everything from post-heavy films to more interactive content.
Drawing on the Flash Player 10's increased ability to render visual and audio effects on the fly, our team worked alongside director Ben Dawkins to add interactive games and runtime effects to many of the segments, so that each film presents the user with something stunning that illustrates the script and reinforces Camilla's superhuman persona. From particle effects implementing physics to audio games allowing the user to create their own music, there are plenty of surprises along the way as Camilla explains the product's features. - for those that really pay attention, there might even be a special treat in store at the end of the experience.
