Geox

You Control the Weather

Jonathan Entwistle directs this short romantic comedy, in which viewers can interact to change the weather conditions and alter the course of true love.

Our story follows a hapless commuter as he travels through the city. The user is invited to change the elements throughout the story, and in-turn the Geox shoes he is wearing, with the objective of getting our hero and his soul mate to meet. Each scene continues with the chosen weather condition, with surprising and amusing consequences.

Throughout the film, the Geox Amphibiox product is highlighted in gorgeous 360 detail, allowing the user to quickly navigate through different weather conditions to see how each shoe performs.

Each product moment was hand-crafted in 3D using high detailing techniques. They were then individually textured, lit and rendered before being integrated with the site. This allowed us to move the camera around the shoe in a seemingly impossible camera move. The user could also change the weather instantly, at any point during the 360 camera-move.

The entire site is built in HTML5 and optimised for touch screen devices.
