What's your legend? A Facebook app that analyses your personal information to deliver one of 9,000 possible bespoke outcomes.

2012 marks Ray-Ban's 75th Anniversary. From Dylan to Slash, Ray-Ban has graced the faces of countless Legends over the years. While their 2012 campaign sought to celebrate legends past, present and future, much of their communications focused on past and present. Believing every life tells a story, their brief to us was to turn their millions of Facebook fans into tomorrow's celebrated legends.

We produced an app that analyses data from Facebook and Foursquare, in combination with a number of third-party APIs, to compile a unique Legendary story for each Ray-Ban fan. We worked with illustrator Chris Martin to create hundreds of individual animations, which were then compiled into a custom film, with over 9000 possible outcomes. The results could then be shared with friends as a movie in the Ray-Ban gallery, alongside a bespoke personalised cover photo for their Facebook Timeline.
